SAMANTHA GALLUZZI

Since 1999 she is research within the LENITEM (Laboratory of Epidemiology, Neuroimaging and Telemedicine) in clinical application of neuroimaging in the diagnosis of cognitive decline.
MICHELA PIEVANI
STAFF SCIENTIST
Degree in Mathematics at the Sacro Cuore Catholic University of Brescia, in 2002. She receive her PhD in Experimental Neurology at the Scientific Institute and University Ospedale San Raffaele, Milan, in 2011. Thesis title: “Structural and functional brain abnormalities in neurodegenerative disorders assessed with MRI techniques” (Supervisor: Prof. Massimo Filippi). Since 2004, she has been working at the Laboratoty of Neuroimaging (LENITEM) at IRCCS Fatebenefratelli, Brescia. Her research is focused on the investigation of Alzheimer’s Disease and related disorders with neuroimaging tools (structural MR, resting-state fMRI and DTI) to (i) enhance the understanding of disease mechanisms and (ii) identify novel biomarkers of disease onset and progression.
MONICA ALMICI
PSYCHOLOGIST
Graduated in clinical psychology, she works within the Unit of Neuroimaging and Epidemiology Alzheimer at IRCCS Fatebenefratelli – Brescia from 2005, as Psychologist-Researcher. She is currently involved in observational studies and clinical trials concerning new investigational drugs for patients with dementia.
SARA GIPPONI
PSYCHOLOGIST
Graduated in clinical psychology, she works within the Unit of Neuroimaging and Epidemiology Alzheimer at IRCCS Fatebenefratelli – Brescia from 2014, as Psychologist-Researcher. She is currently involved in observational studies and clinical trials concerning new investigational drugs for patients with Alzheimer disease or other neurodegenerative diseases.

Graduated in psychology of the clinical intervention in social contexts, she works within the Unit of Neuroimaging and Epidemiology Alzheimer at IRCCS Fatebenefratelli – Brescia from march 2014, as Psychologist-Researcher. She is currently involved in clinical trials concerning new investigational drugs for patients with neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer dementia and Frontotemporal dementia) and preventive interventions for elderly without dementia.
MOIRA MARIZZONI
PHD IN NEUROSCIENCE
Degree in Molecular Biotechnology, she has been collaborating with LENITEM since 2010. Since then, she is involved in the context of neuroimaging research, with particular interest in the morphological, diffusion and functional analysis in human and mouse models of Alzheimer Disease.
CRISTINA FESTARI
PSYCHOLOGIST
Graduated in clinical psychology, she works with LENITEM from September 2013, dealing with neuropsychological assessments and management of clinical data in projects of beta amyloid imaging.
ANNA MEGA
PSYCHOLOGIST
She graduated in Clinical Psychology in 2009, and since 2013 she has worked for LENITEM at IRCCS Fatebenefratelli-Brescia, as Psychologist Researcher. She is currently involved in studies concerning autosomal dominant forms of Alzheimer’s disease and frontotemporal lobar degeneration.
ILARIA PASSEGGIA

Graduated in clinical psychology, she works within the Unit of Neuroimaging and Epidemiology Alzheimer at IRCCS Fatebenefratelli – Brescia from 2014, as Psychologist-Researcher. She is currently involved in observational studies and clinical trials concerning new investigational drugs for patients with prodromal Alzheimer.
VALENTINA SALETTI
PSYCHOLOGIST
Psychologist graduated in clinical psychology, she has been working within the Unit of Neuroimaging and Epidemiology Alzheimer since 2018, as psychologist- researcher. She is currently involved in prevention trials for people without dementia and in clinical trials concerning new investigational drugs for patients with AD or other neurodegenerative diseases.
EVITA TOMASONI
PSYCHOLOGIST
Psychologist graduated in Clinical Psychology in 2014, she has been working within the Unit of Neuroimaging and Epidemiology Alzheimer at IRCCS Fatebenefratelli – Brescia since 2017, as Psychologist-Researcher. She is currently involved in observational and clinical studies for patients with cognitive impairment and in Alzheimer’s disease prevention studies.
GIULIA QUATTRINI

Graduated in cognitive neurosciences, she has been working within the Unit of Neuroimaging and Epidemiology Alzheimer since 2017 as a researcher. She is involved in the context of neuroimaging research in the field of psychiatric (Borderline Personality Disorder) and neurodegenerative diseases (AD).
VALENTINA NICOLOSI
PSYCHOLOGIST
Psychologist graduated in clinical psychology. She has been working within the Unit of Neuroimaging and Epidemiology Alzheimer since 2016. She is currently involved in observational studies aiming at developing and validating biomarkers of AD.
MELISSA ROMANO
RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Coordination and management of assessments and telephone support to the patients of the clinic to the “Ambulatorio Traslazionale per la Memoria”, mail management, and archive (either electronic or paper); clinical database management.
